His acting debut came in 2017 with a Telugu show called Agnisakshi. In 2021, things really took off for him. He landed the lead role of Raghav Rao in Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali. This character was complex and emotional, and it gave Sai Ketan Rao the chance to show off his acting skills. The show became extremely popular, and he became a star.
